Submission Deadline:
All application forms must be completed and submitted (whether electronically or physically), by 21st October 2011 @ 5pm
Additionally Procedural Requirement:
Before submitting yourself for nomination for a given position on the Committee, you need to contact the current rep for that position. Converse with that rep regarding what you believe the position entails, and ask any relevant questions relating to the position.
We should be making the application forms available via this website once submission is open. They will be collated and present on the Nominations page, which will outline who has applied, for what position and why they believe they should be elected.
Similarly, printed copies of the application forms will be made available on the night of the election.
On the Elections evening, everyone will be allowed to briefly scan the applications to see who has put themselves forward for candidacy. Shortly after, each nominee will be given the chance to present a speech on why they should be elected, as well as answer a series of questions from the audience - both are compulsory elements of the election.
Once everyone has made their speech, and answered the questions, everyone will be presented with a voting form in which you choose the candidate you wish to elect - or in the event that you wish to vote for no one, select RON (ReOpen Nominations). The ballots will be collated and counted, and the winners will be announced there and then.
