Congratulations on making it into the prison scheme.

Now that you have been selected I need the following information from each student a.s.a.p. (Don't worry these are not for the college of York trip, but these details will need to be arranged as early as possible, in order for every student to be cleared in order to go into the prisons)

Summary of clearance process:

Clearance process is a security clearance for each person who visits the prison. It is a high security area therefore, all the relevant legal obligations have to be carried out. In order for each candidate to carry out their presentations, they will need to be cleared, this includes me too, although I wont be carrying out any presentations myself. I need to have these details from you to clear each and every one of you for the prison scheme. If you don't get these details to me then Im afraid you wont be allowed into the prison, meaning no presentations or certificates. This will be a waste of your effort and time. Therefore, I request each and every one of you to be organised and hand me these details in advance.

Each student will need:

• 2 x Passport sized photos
• Photocopy of passport or the passport itself
• Birth certificate copy (if available, isn't compulsory)
• A4 Sized Envelope with 1st class stamp
• Phone bill,Utility bill or Bank statement -Basically we need this as a proof of address) Only one out of the three is needed not all three!
